When payday lands on Good Friday...

Will my paycheck go in on Thursday?

  • Everywhere I have worked, when pay day falls on a weekend or holiday, we are paid the last work day before the holiday or weekend. It depends on how your employer dates the payroll.

  • It is not a federal Holiday. It should go in friday.

  • Its not a federal holiday, so probably not. But I have direct deposit every Friday and its usually in by midnight.

  • Where I work, we don't get off for Good Friday so we get paid as usual BUT when a holiday falls on a Friday, we get paid the day before.

  • Maybe it's different from here to the states... I'm not sure. It's a stat holiday here... either you get it off or you get paid OT... so I assume it's a bank holiday.

  • no its not consider a federal holiday or bank holiday. so it will arrive on friday. i believe the only time it will do that, if its christmas, new years day, fourth of july

  • We receive paper checks and we will get them Thursday.
