Whats your favorite healthy dinner?

I am trying to lose weight and change my familys eating habits but I am having a hard time coming up with healthy dinners. So whats your favorite ones??? And we eat Kosher so no pork! lol

  • I like to go to http://www.skinnytaste.com/  this blogger makes meals that are weight watchers compatible and she has a lot of spanish influences that I like.

  • Salmon cakes with pineapple lime sauce, Baked sweet potato fries,and cucumber salad. Or Chicken and roasted chickpea pasta salad and fruit salad.

  • I make homemade pizzas from scratch. You can buy the dough premade and that will save time. Pizzas can be very healthy if you make them that way :)

  • Spring Mix salad with toms, onions, zuchinni, squash, carrots, and such with chicken strips on top with a spinach cream dressing!!! It is amazingly filling and so full of flavor!!!

  • stirfry, baked chicken with green beans and rice. (brown is healthier)Whole wheate speghetti with turkey meat and lots of veggies in it. Ummm... homemade chicken noodle soup, maybe a veggie lasagna, ummm.... steamed or baked fish with veggies

  • What we had last night - broiled tilapia filets seasoned with BBQ rub, asparagus roasted with olive oil and salt, and homemade rice pilaf with mushrooms.

  • I have a few - grilled or baked fish, brown rice, steamed asparagus, and a salad. Whole wheat pasta and homemade spaghetti sauce (little salt, little sugar, loaded with other veggies) and a salad. In the summer, a great big salad of mixed greens & spinach loaded with veggies and a little bit of grilled chicken.
