  • I beleive that sex is what helped me go into labor with my 2nd child. We had sex at noon and I went to the OB at 6 in active labor!!

I will see if it helps with pregnancy in a couple of weeks.

  • Semen has a softening agent in it that can help your cervix to efface. Orgasm can stimulate contractions. So it can still help, just not as much as if you orgasm.

  • It's the prostaglandins in the semen that soften the cervix.

  • Other things you can do to bring on labor is playing with your nipples..pulling sucking( i know it sounds weird) but it tricks your body into thinking your breastfeeding and will release hormones to bring on labor. exercise also helps. Good luck with the delivery!
