Does Mederma prevent stretch marks?

I know they reduce the appearance of them but just wondering if you could use it while pregnant to prevent them?

  • It all depends on the elasticity in your skin. If you don't have much elasticity then there's no way to avoid them. It's all in the genes.

  • To be honest, NOTHING can prevent stretch marks. However, some creams can help with the skins elasticity in order to help reduce them...

Almost every mom has them unless they were blessed with better genes... also, some moms who carry around a little extra weight before pregnancy tend to have less due to them having a little more space on them before the baby grows big and starts making more room for itself ♥

  • It might, but I doubt it. Using cocoa butter can help prevent them if used during pregnancy, but mederma is made for ones that are already there.
