Traditional pencils or mechanical pencils?

Which do you prefer? I much prefer mechanical. No sharpening needed and they are handy. And so much cheaper than they used to be.

  • Traditional only because the lead is too thin and breaks easily (at least when i write) with mechanical pencils. But they are more convenient than sharpening when needed.

  • Traditional. I teach, and hate when students buy mechanical. The led constantly breaks, and when they run out of led, they have no refills, and end up using traditional pencils mid school year anyway.
