Baby weight?

just wondering how much your 4 month old weighs or weigh when they were 4 months. i have a son and i heard boys are usually always heavier than girls. he is going to go to his 4 month check up next week so im not really sure how much he weighs now, but on his 2 month check up he was 12lbs! let me also mention he was 7lbs 6oz at birth, he was 1 1/2 premature

  • DS2 was 13 lbs 1 oz when he was 4 months (he's 7 months now). He was 7 lbs 14 oz at birth. But, he was slow to gain weight, plus he got meningitis at 5.5 weeks and lost weight while he was in the hospital. At his 6 month checkup, he was 16 lbs, but he had been on solids for 2 months and that helped him get his weight up.

  • My son is 12 months now, at his 5 month checkup he was 22lbs. He has always been off the chart for both weight and height.

  • DD is not quite 4 months, but at 3 mo she was 12.4lbs 23 1/4 in long. She was 8.4lbs at birth :) I think it's a myth that boys are naturally heavier, I think its more a what's in their genes. Her weight has always benn at 50% and her height is a little higher.
