  • I don't think so. If you do a little comparing, we're a bit more "free" than most other countries out there.

  • with how unpopular the healthcare bill was, and yet still got passed, i felt it was a giant slap to the face of americans. whether or not you agree with the bill, the way it was passed was shady and wrong. george washington & co are rolling around in their graves, i think. add the threat of the governement financial shutdown, while the main populous just having to sit and watch, freaked me out to no end. so yes, i definitely agree with that. i seriously wonder if we're headed for another civil war, or just a collapse of government, like the soviet union. did you know that the soviet union lasted over seventy years?? i didn't realize that.

  • Yep they sure are being taken away. Anytime you grow the Govt the Govt gains more power over our lives, which is something I can do without.

  • Just last week weren't the right of parents to send their children to school with a homepacked lunch taken away? Everyday in some small way, mostly almost unnoticeable, someone's rights in this country are taken away. So my answer is YES. The government is inches closer and closer to being all controlling.

  • Yes,I believe so.Everyone seems content to just sit back and let it happen. The people need to take more control and realize that the government is supposed to be working FOR us.And people wonder what the term "sheeple" means!

    No.
And the school lunch issue is a LOCAL thing...not a problem with the federal government.

  • ABSOLUTELY! I'd like to hear just HOW our rights are NOT being taken away from us from those who are blind to it.
