  • Well I probably won't be of much help - my son had all his teeth at 11 months old so he was eating chicken strips lol. Have you been trying giving your son more solid foods rather than the mushy stuff?

  • If he's 1, he can eat pretty much anything you eat, just cut up real small. You don't have to make him any special meals. Let him practice eating with forks & spoons too.

  • He'll love your food. Give him little bites. There are a lot of healthy things he can eat. Fruit is always great. You'll want to give him some protein. Yogurt is great for little ones. This is a great time to introduce veggies too. That way they won't turn from them later. Green beans, peas, summer squash, field peas, carrots, and even small pieces of brocolli and cauliflower are great for them. Also, things like kiwi, pineapple, berries (cut in halves or quaters), grapes (cut), & seedless watermelon are great. They usually start loving things like spaghetti, mac & cheese, little pieces of chicken, eggs, peanut butter on a cracker, pretzels, & pickles. There's so much at his age. You're at a very exciting time in your life!

  • Just about anything you eat - just cut up small.
Soup will obviously be hard but you can try "flooding" the soup with crushed up crackers.
You should avoid the high allergy foods if you have food allergies in your family: nuts, peanuts, seafood are some of them. You can find a full list at Babycenter.com

  • Also, since you want him to eat healthy, take a look at what you eat. Nows a good time to revamp your own diet. Remember... monkey see, monkey do.

  • Just a question, why do you still give him BABY FOOD IN A JAR?
He's 1 so he can now eat Anything and Everything you do.
There is NO Need for Baby food anymore. I'm confused!
