  • Based on my kids: 3.

We started potty training my son at 2, like the daycare wanted. It took him until he was 4-4.5 to get it all down. Granted, he had two life changing events in this time that caused him to regress, but still......

We started potty training my daughter at 3 and she got it all down (day and night) in 1-2 weeks.

  • My son showed all the readiness signs at 2.5. It took 4 days. He went straight to underwear, even at night. By day 4, he was pretty much completely potty learned.

  • I don't use the term trained because I feel I am not teaching him to poop on cue. I am helping him learn the need to go potty and the ability to make it there and go.
