  • Nope. Never have and never will either. DAWN (liquid detergent the original too) and warm water in a spray bottle. Works like a charm for most bugs. I also companion plant: peppers around my tomatoes, marigolds around my whole garden. Slugs are controled with grapefruit shells. I have lots of ways to avoid pestcides.

  • Isn't Dawn still a chemical? I use a soap made from plants but I've only ever been able to find it at Kroger in the Health Food section.

  • Nope. Marigolds or just leave them be is what we do.

  • Nope, except when we need termite treatments. There are supposed to be bugs in the garden, anyway. If you have a bird feeder, the birds will take care of some of the bugs.

  • No - I use Tough and Tender and Sol-U-Mel - kills aphids and other pests - safe and non- toxic - I love to be able to go into my garden and pick the veggies and fruits right off the plants and eat them while they are still warm from the sun :)
