How many times do you tell your kid to do or not do something before they get "in trouble"??

I'm usually 3 strikes and your in time-out lol

  • 2. The second request includes consequences for not complying. I don't ask a third time, i just enforce the consequence.

  • I also use the three strike rule. Seems to work for me. She likes to test me and see if she will really get in trouble or not.

  • 3 strikes and your out. at time 3 or counting to number three with no response, time out starts

  • oh gosh it's non stop... but i tell him once and the second time i get down to his level... but normally once he see's me get up he stops and runs.. not to sure why but it's works for me.

  • Lately I've been slacking, which I know isn't good at all, but normally it's once with a warning. Then the next time is straight to time out.
