  • I change it up. Right now, i have a Tupperware full of bruchetta. I have a 2 loafs of french bread, so everybody's been snacking on that for the past 2 days. It's my DD's favorite.

I also have tons of fruit, some granola, peanuts, almonds, popcorn, salad fixings, DD LOVES peanut butter on celery....

I never get unnecessary starches, like chips & crackers (unless for a party). I don't mind the french bread though, because they're eating it with fresh herbs & veggies.

I'm a health freak, so snacks here are healthy.

For lunch, i pack DD some shredded wheat cereal, or left over pasta & some fruit. I'll often give her left overs for school lunch. SOMETIMES she'll buy school lunch, but only if they're serving pizza that day

  • A variety of fresh fruits & veggies, once in a while some whole wheat crackers & string or block cheese, we'll air pop some popcorn, the bulk of our snacks are homemade though.

  • I change it up often but usually the main snack items are: string cheese, pecans, radishes, various colored bell peppers, popcorn, grapes, mango, carrots and green goddess, celery, cucumbers, hummus, babaganoush, pickles, olives, avocados, tomatoes(dd eats them like an apple), salsa (I make homemade so I can control the sodium), and tons of fresh fruits. Strawberries and blueberries too, but only when they are on sale.
