I'm pretty sure its safe to take sudafed in pregnancy but does anyone know how much I should take?

  • as far as i know, the recommended dosage is safe to take. but you can give your local pharmacy a call (hopefully there is one nearby that's open late or 24hours) and the pharmacist will know for sure.

  • Avoid cold remedies that contain alcohol. Also avoid the decongestants pseudoephedrine (sudafed name brand) and phenylephrine, which can affect blood flow to the placenta.

    I had to look it up, I was sure I had been told not to take sudafed while pregnant
