I like to hide dd's basket and make a jelly bean trail to help her find it. I'm not sure if that's unique or not, but it's fun!
Also, every year instead of having an Easter Egg hunt, we have an Easter rock that an adult hides really really well in the yard and the kids get to find it. When they do, they get a prize and put their name and year on the rock... it's covered in names now. Not sure how that tradition came about though...
I decided long ago, when I learned how to do it, that every one of my kids would get a carved egg shell for their first easter.

I just think it's a beautiful keepsake to have. :)
