  • Our Easter tradition is to boil a dozen eggs and let them cool, then the kids paint them and put the painted chicken eggs into their decorated Easter Baskets - some years they also make the baskets, sometimes we buy them. They fill them with wildflowers and pretty leaves etc and then put the eggs in there.

Easter morning, the "Easter bunny" has taken the painted chicken eggs and hidden them around the room, leaving the baskets filled with the foil-covered chocolate easter eggs. When the kids find the chicken eggs, we make them into a big tray of devilled eggs and have them with our Easter feast, which is just a big special meal, roast something, with all the trimmings.

  • Maybe you could set up your living room or something with scenery from the Bible stories. You can each pick a part and can act out the stories. Like you can each have special costumes and everything. You all get to keep your costumes and each person gets a big treat coinciding with their role. Good luck!

  • we go to mass in the morning ( Catholic), then we get home and have easter bunny shaped pancakes. after that they each recieve their baskets and a blow up we do our egg hunt ( we dye the eggs 3 days before) and we have a "golden" egg with $10.00 in it. Then they recieve their church easter basket ( focuses on the reakl meaning of Easter). We have cookies and snacks. We love dressing up for Eastertoo! We then have a huge Turkey dinner! We have a geat time!
