Anyone have PCOS and how do you treat it?

I was recently Dx'd with PCOS (poly-cystic ovarian syndrome). I have pretty much every symptom except the cystic ovaries.

Anyone else? And how to you keep it under control?

  • I take metformin 500mg 3 times a day for mine. I cannot take birth control as it makes my cyst worse.

  • Taking Metformin and going low-carb will help. I went the herbal route, and am taking Inositol to help manage my symptoms.
