How are you dealing with the High Gas Prices ?

Almost at 5 dollars a gallon here. Worked really hard to get SO a job near by, went from needing to fill up 3 times a week to just once in a week and a half. Get errands done on the way home from work., buy in bulk, shop online. Helps that paid off, car 2003 gets 30 miles a gallon, oil changes, air filters also helped. With the job change income increased also.  Comute went went from 45  one way to just 10 miles one way

  • I drive to and from work only. If I need something, I will get it in that area.

  • Just dealing with it, what can we do? Just trying to stay home more and filling up when I see a good price instead of waiting util the tank is on E.

  • Is moving closer to the job an option? I'm looking into that. I have cut back as much as possible. Just what I need nothing more.

  • It's about $4 a gallon here and if you really think about it, it's not that much different. I fill up once a week so that's an extra $15 a week since gas has jumped from 3-4 dollars, so $60 a month. I can find $60 a month extra so I haven't changed much.

  • It was worse for me when the job was 90 miles round trip plus working 14 hour a day things were not open after work. Changed jobs increased income, things are better now, need to move closer then no commute at all
