What does your house smell like?

SO's ex's house smells like the Yankee Candle store. She doesn't burn candles often and doesn't have a bunch of plug-ins so how does it smell so strong?

What does your house smell like and how do you keep it like that?

  • A mixture of OdoBan ( which is the best cleaner in the UNIVERSE!) and those Glade rock thingies. THey last forever. I don't remember the name of the scent, but they are a cranberry color.

  • All my windows are open. There is rain on the way so it smells like rain.

  • it smells like dust.. the house was sitting full for over 10 years with no one living it it. I am slowly cleaning things and getting the dust smell out and replacing it with normal people smells.

  • I only notice the "true" smell of my house when I've been gone a while. It smells like new wood and soap. I like it. I don't burn candles often and don't clean with real strong smelling products. I like it when it smells like laundry detergent when I'm washing clothes. :) What does your's smell like?

  • Hm... nothing, really. I haven't cooked for a little while and I don't have any air fresheners plugged in. It might smell like cigarettes down the hallway - our neighbors in the apartment below us smoke inside and the smell comes up to our apartment! Gross.
