We actually had 2 tornados touch down just miles from my house!

Early Wednesday morning the sirens went off. We didn't have any damage our lawn chairs didn't even turn over. But there was sever damages to buisness just a mile down the road. Up rooted trees were everywhere!

They just confirmed that an EF1 touched down on one side of us and an EF2 touched down on the other side.

The best part is even though there were 2 tornados no one was hurt.

  • I grew up in MO so I know all about twister season. There was more focus on tornado safety then fire safety when I was in school. But I have lived in this area for 14 years and not once has there been a tornado touch down even close to where I live. In fact the rule around here is that we always get skipped. this is the first time in YEARS they have had 1 let alone 2 tornados.

  • I am glad that you were able to survive w/ little to no damage. One of the tornado last weekend in NC destroyed houses on the next street behind my house and did a lot of damage to a lot of places around here in NC.
