  • No we do not observe good friday.
friday is our day of worship and is believed to be the best day of the week.
As for Jesus we believe in him but as a Prophet.

  • The third answer to this question stated that it was an Islamic holiday. http://www.cafemom.com/answers/818303/Good_friday
So that's where my question came from. So this person must have misunderstood the question. Thank you for clarifying!

  • I do know that Muslims have high respect for Jesus, and for Mary. They just do not believe that He is God. I have found that Muslims are much more respectful when talking about Jesus than are the people who are opposed to religion in general.

  • No they don't celebrate Good Friday, but they do have Friday Prayers. Friday is the Muslim day of worship.
