  • Since he used the word conceived I would guess he was calculating the day you had sex. I could be wrong. What is your due date?

  • not necessarily. Sperm can live in you 3-4 days

  • You can have sex up to 3 days before you ovulate and the sperm can live that long. They consider the weeks from day 1 of period to ovulation as part of pregnancy because the ovule (egg) is maturing from that point to the day of release.

So you could have sex before you ouvlated and it could fertilize the egg once it's released.

  • Okay so it looks like he was estimating the day you had sex. That like the due date is only an estimate so don't be worried if it doesn't match up to what you thought exactly. I am guessing your last period before getting pregnant was around Dec. 20th.

  • Sounds like the doctor is guessing you had your period start 2 weeks prior to that conception date.

They will count that conception date at "Two Weeks Pregnant."

Whether you had sex on any particular date isn't so relevant.
