How big should my baby be?

I have an ultrasound on wednesday, but I am a little concerned. I feel like baby is bigger than he or she should be. My uterus is already almost up to my ribs and baby feels really big.

  • during your ultrasound your doctor or nurse should have noticed if he was to big. my son was always under my ribs poking around. i dont think you should be alarmed. but if you are really concerned you should always call your doctor and make an appt. its always better to be on the safe side during pregnancy

  • My ultrasound is next week on wednesday so I guess I will find out then, but was just curious how big baby should be. This isn't my first, but my 3rd and I do not remember being this big with them or having them feel so big. They were 6lbs 13oz at birth.

  • I sure would hope not, LOL!! Unless the little booger was hiding in the first 2 ultrasounds then I think we are safe :) the only pain I have is my constant growing uterus (darn round ligament pain, haha)
