Bleeding in early pregnancy...

I have heard of alot of people saying they they got "periods" while pregnant. Has anyone experienced this first hand? Did it last more than a few days, or was it just light?

  • I would call your doctor if you have any bleeding.

  • Not a period, but I did bleed for the first 15 weeks of my pregnancy. Really scary because there were days that the blood was bright red with clots. Doctor said my cervix was super sensitive and that is why I was bleeding.

  • It could be the Baby attaching to the uterus! My doctor said a "LITTLE" bleeding in the first 5-6 weeks is normal but you should def. contact your doc.!

  • I had one spot the day before my period was due. It's called "implantation bleeding" and is very common.
