Is it possible

to have false labor without your uterus contracting ... just really bad cramps?

  • Yes it is! But it will eventually go away and if it don't then go to the emergecy room because you are in actual labor..

  • Really bad cramps also means your uterus is contracting. ANY crampy feelings at any time means your uterus is contracting. WHen you have your eriod, your uterus contracts and the menstrual lining is shed that way. WHen you are in real labor,the contractions are more powerful and more regular and they are more efficient.

  • Cramps are considered contractions if your concerned or in a lot of pain I would get checked out if I were you.

  • i had some bad cramping and they hooked me up to the monitor and said i was having contractions every now and then but it was mainly a spastic uterus. I would go get checked out for sure though because there is really no way to know until you are checked by the monitor. GL
