IUD

I am not ready right now but is there anyone that was on Mirena and got it taken out because you were ready for another child? How long did it take for you to get pregnant? I know it is different for everybody. But my DH and I have a very specific time period we would like to have another child so I am just wondering about when I should plan to get it removed.

  • I would say 6 months, to give your body time to adjust without the hormones and keep track of your ovulation and periods.
