Can a garage sale be held on a Monday or tuesday and still have people come?

I know the days are normally Thursday thru the weekend but what about the beginning of the week

  • well you can have it whenever but attendance is usually higher towards the weekend (even Thursday). i would definitely invest in advertising for it if you are planning on an early in the week sale.

  • Yes. Put signs on the corner's of your streets and you will get tons of drive by lookers to it.

  • You can put signs where a lot of people drive, but most people work doing the week. so you might not get many people.

  • I have had garage sales on the off days. I usually get a lot of shoppers. The thing is they do not have to run to get to the next sale. They tend to stay and buy more because there is no more sales that you have to get to before you miss something. Good luck. Lots of signs and a busy street. We also have a local cafe to publicize on.
