2 Bumps

No carb/low carb ingredients.

I'm going back on a low carb diet. I was on one before and lost 10 pounds very quickly. What are some foods or ingredients that are 3 carbs or less for a decent amount of food.

  • Meat, poultry, fish, fresh/frozen veggies except sweet potatoes, white potatoes, peas, winter squash, and corn.
Be careful with the amount of tomatoes you eat, although typically their nutritional value outweighs the carb count.
Homemade oil-based or vinaigrette salad dressings so that YOU can control the ingredients and avoid hidden sugars.
    Most cheeses are low carb.
Drink water, plain iced or hot tea or coffee.
Nuts or sunflower seeds are good.
Eggs: hard boiled, poached, scrambled, fried
    Dill pickles!
    coconut & coconut milk
Surprisingly, Cool Whip has 2 - 3 carbs per serving!
If you don't mind aspartame, sugar free jello and Crystal Light are good options.
