What do I do?

My 5 year-old just stuck some plaster from the ceiling in her ear and it won't come out on it's own and I'm worried about pushing it into her ear drum more.

  • Unless you have some tweezers that will reach it, go to the doctor.

  • I have tweezers but it broke when I tried to grab it.. the ceiling is from before the 1980's and has that fake gold stuff in it to make it sparkle

  • I would take her to the doctors. Can never be too safe.

  • My son put a bean in his ear. I tried to get it out but only pushed it further in. Called the doctor he couldn't get it out so my son was admitted to the hospital and the next morning did some sort of minor anesthesia procedure to get it. Some came home later that day.. My advice - CALL YOUR DOCTOR NOW

  • Go to the doctor or ER its a quick fix for them & you'll feel better that its getting done by a professional too.

  • Try having something else with it, like a hard boiled egg, fruit or some toast. Sometimes just a little more is all you need.
