Why do you post a question?

When you post a question do you really want an answer or do you just want people to agree with you?
I am surprised by some people on here if you don't seem to have the same opinion as them then you are deemed harsh or mean. i have to laugh at this b/c when i ask a question i want simply that answers not people to just agree with me. Anyone else feel this way??

  • I often give my best answers to people who aren't in agreement with me. I really ask questions to get all point of views.

  • It's a bit of both. I just ignore the harsh people

  • I feel that way sometimes....but not with the questions I post... but I see alot of that when I'm reading other's posts.... when I ask a question, I like opinions from all areas :) P.S. some people are just miserable with their lives and tend to rain on our parades :)

  • I will be perfectly honest and admit that sometimes I have an agenda and do get annoyed when people don't agree with me but I only do that when I'm in a mood. Most often, I ask questions to get answers and ideas for myself or to provoke thought but I have no anticipation about answers.

  • i can appreciate your honesty nonluna and i bet you probably word your questions that way. maybe if more people were more forthcoming about this then they wouldn't get so offended about it.
