Lemon cupcakes

Ok so I am making lemon cupcakes for easter, but I want a really lemony taste to come out. I know store make lemon cake mix, but if I add lemon jello mix? or lemon pudding mix? will that make it too strong or better tasting? Wait can I add jello mix to cake batter?

  • Hi- well I know that Pillsbury makes a lemon cake mix and there is a recipe on the side to add a package of the lemon pudding mix to the mix takes a bit longer to bake but is really moist.

  • If you have any lemon essence add two teaspoons of that to the mix. You can also use the zest of one lemon.

  • I would just add some extra drops of lemon juice to the batter =)
    Maybe even lemon flavored frosting!

  • Lemon zest would be a great addition. The Lemon pudding would also help it to be more moist.
