  • Veggie garden - corn, tomatoes, cucumbers, green beans, green peppers, jalapeno peppers, potatoes, onions, lettuce, canteloupes, and decorative gourds. We have not planted anything yet because it went from cold weather to very rainy weather. We will have to wait for the garden to dry out some before we plow and till it, then we will be able to plant stuff.

Flower garden - My daffodils and crocuses are done blooming for the year. Right now I have tulips and hyacinths blooming. I have hostas, lilies, peonies, sedum, lamium, purple coneflowers, black-eyed susans and hollyhocks that are growing. I will be planting various annuals later on when the ground is a little bit drier. I usually plant begonias, impatiens, dusty millers, coleuses, vinca and whatever other flowers I find that I like. My DH just ordered a bunch of plants online for some more perennials. Not sure what all he ordered, but I'm so excited!
