A few months ago my husband had a benign (non- cancerous) lump on his back bone at the base of his neck and had it removed. Just today i noticed a pertruding lump that is pretty small, movable and hard. I'm sure its not a lymph node because there is nothing similiar on the other side and it does stick out if he turns his neck. He seems to think he's had and i do know cyst and tumor without cancer run in his family but this seems much different. He has an appt monday but im freaking out. Any suggestions, advice ect? Anything would help.

  • If he has a history then better be safe then sorry. It might be a chronic thing that he will begin to have more and more often or just a stage he is going through with his hormones. You know those male hormones.

  • It sounds like a cycst. Try not to freak about things you have no controll over. He's got a Dr appt. be paitent and see what the dr says. In the mean time there is nothing you can do about it till you know what it is. Dont stress yourself over what if's. What will be, will be weather you worry yourself sick or not. Be happy instead. It sounds like a cycst.
