Hispanic Names

I've been exploring hispanic names because DH's Mother is Guatemalan.
Do you like hispanic names and would they be too weird with the last name Clark? If you do like them which one's do you like?

  • I like them, but I am Hispanic. Ironically though none of my kids have Hispanic names. I was going to name my dd Isaura (pronounced E-Sar-vra) but we went with Sara. That was my grandmas name and she went by Sara. My youngest sons middle name is my grandfathers first name, but I americanized it. It is Valentin, I made it Valentine (pronounced Valenteen). I also like Roberto, Ornelius, Josephina, Adonia, Adriana, Dominic, Catalina and stuff like that.

  • I don't think a hispanic name would sound different than a french name , a german name, an irish name. If you like the name use it :) Most names end up being pronounced by most people with our american accent anyway. My middle name is nicole and there is a difference between the way an american pronounces nicole and the way the french pronounce it.

Sorry to nitpick but isabella is not of hispanic origin.
