When you make baked potato do you wrap it in foil?

  • Yup. Perfect recipe for the oven. Put a tab or two of butter on the foil, some pepper and some salt, and then place the washed potato on the foil and wrap. Put in the oven in a baking dish for an hour @ 375. They are always perfect!!!

  • No need to do it. I poke them with a fork and brush olive oil on them, put them in the oven on a baking pan. I takes about an hour for the potatoes to be ready. Again no need to use the foil.

    My mom does but she cooks them for 3 hours at 200 and they are SO GOOD!

  • I do if I'm putting them in the oven, or on the grill. If I make them in the microwave, I wrap them in plastic, cause they don't seem to dry out as much in the microwave if I do.
