  • My son is breastfed, so I don't know how many ounces he gets. He nurses first thing in the morning, then for a nap at about 8:30. Then again at about 11:00, 1:30, 3:30, 5:30, 7:00, 9:00, 11:30 and then he sleeps until 6:30, though sometimes he nurses a couple of times at night. He eats when I want to give him something to do lol. Usually around 7:00 (after he nurses) so that he has something to eat while we are eating. Pretty much any time any one of us eats he gets something. It's all finger foods, though, so he only gets a little bit at a time. When he's sick I don't give him any solid food, preferring for him to get as many antibodies as possible through breast milk.

    Hope this helps!

  • 4 ounces of formula, 6 times/day between 7 am and 7 pm (bedtime). With 3 of those bottles she also gets solids - depending on what we are having I either feed her small bites of what we are eating or steam some frozen veggies or cut up some fresh fruit. She is very small (13 lbs 11 oz at 9 months) but she's always moving so she eats a lot.
