Any home remedies for an ingrown toenail???

Hubby is wining like a baby about 1 and refuses to get it out professionally. Gross!

  • Have him soak his foot ina warm tube of water and on some nail clippers there are sometimes a piece that swings out and that will help get the nail out of the skin. then cut it. But really soaking the toes will help a lot!! and if that doesnt work he either deals with it or goes see someone

  • I have one on both big toes =[ they hurt like hell! I pull them out, and they keep coming back =[

  • Soak in hot water & epsom salts. Pull the skin away from the nail. Use cuticle scissors to cut the nail down the side. Needle nose pliers to rip it out. Keep soaking to draw out any infection.

  • I take a hot bath and soak,it makes the nails soft so it does not hurt.

  • Epsom salts and hot water soaks are very helpful. It is also helpful to pour some hydrogen peroxide over it and let it bubble to get rid of the infection more quickly.
