Has anyone tried these electronic pest repellent devices?

If so how well do they work? I've started to see spiders and a couple of roaches in our new home.

  • Save your electricity bill, buy lavender plants for the outside of your home and oils for the inside, took a fellow CM's advice and haven't had any bugs in or around my house for weeks (with the exception of pollen collecting bugs!)

  • I haven't tried the electronic ones.

As for lavender....that is a good idea but you need to make sure it is out of reach of your pets if you have any.

  • When we first moved into our house we had a lot of spiders. My husband got one of the electronic pest repellents that you plug in and it's supposed to do something to the wiring to attract the pests and kill them or something like that. I completely forgot the name of it though. But we haven't seen any spiders or any other kind of bugs since we started using it.

  • I am thinking about getting one. I have heard that they work really well. I need one to keep the black widow and wolf spiders out of my home.

  • We had rental that had them in several rooms and they worked perfectly. I've thought about getting them for this house but haven't yet purchased them, maybe this summer.
