Can I give my 10 month old whole wheat bread?

My husband and I only have whole wheat bread in the house. We feel it is healthier for us but is it okay to give to my 10 month old instead of white bread?

  • Yes. Besides, white bread is a choking hazard in my opinion. That stuff becomes like a glob of paste when the kids eat it. Wheat bread dissolves far better than white bread so it is easier for a baby to swallow, and it's far healthier. If you are worried about allergies just keep an eye on your baby for the next several days when you start feeding it to them.

  • We never have white bread, so I don't think it's a problem.
