From when on in the pregnancy am i supposed to have milk in my breasts?

  • Some women have some milk in their breast before the babies born, some women do not get any until after the babies born. There isn't a "supposed to" in this.

  • Actually, you do not have milk in your beasts during pregnancy unless you are still nursing an older child. What you have is called colostrum. Its a thicker, yellowish substance and that is all your baby needs to eat for the first few days. You milk will come in within a few days, but can take up to 4-5 days. The more you nurse, the sooner it comes in. But the colostrum is VERY important. You may or may not be able to extract some colostrum during pregnancy. Sometimes it leaks, sometimes it doesn't.
