Is it normal for babys to pick food into their mouth from the floor.

  • Yes they do not know yet. As they grow up and hear us say it enough they eventually learn not to do it

  • totally. She will continue to do this to an extent until she is like 6! It will become way less though by age 2 or 3.

  • What do you mean "IS it normal"??? They will do it because they don't know that it is not a good idea. Just don't let food fall on the floor and stay there. Clean up. THAT is normal.

  • Its the oral stage that all infact experience. toys, food, whatever they can find and pick up, they will put it in theirmouths.

  • Yep! All 3 of mine were like that.... drop food on the floor or find anything interesting on the floor and they would try to put it right in their mouth.... they did eventually outgrow it.
