  • The have to do with the feast of Ostara, the original holiday celebrated in Europe to welcome the return of Spring. The eggs and rabbits are symbols of fertility. When Rome invaded Europe and took over, they tried to replace Ostara with Easter, and the traditions mingled, same reason you have a tree covered with candy canes and give presents at Christmas.

  • LOLOL!!!!! Nothing to do with Jesus! The eggs represent the pagan fertility rights they used to practice on the spring solstice. Jelly beans are egg shaped so probably mean the same thing.

  • well....Jesus wants me to be a happy camper, and He knows i love jellybeans (particularly jellybelly and starburst brands) and chocolate (what's not to love??) anythings...ergo, they're both for me.. who happens to be a child of God, the Head of the Trinity..of which Jesus is a third...
