Easter baskets

I remember getting these as a child from my Aunt, but it stopped before I was a teen.
I have a few friends that are adults who still receive these from their Mothers with different types of items (ie. perfumes, candles, gift cards, other items for their interest)

Do you still receive Easter baskets?

  • Sometimes ... I don't think anyone is too old to have a special treat on holidays. I make them for hubby, MIL and SIL.

  • Until I moved out. My cousins are in their 30's and 40's and still get them. And my son has every year since he was born, and will until there's a grandkid (and he might still get one then).

  • i think the idea of the gift easter basket is really cute for adults or older children. i do that with my 5 yr old son. this year was a spiderman theme. my mom kind of stopped after i was about 7 and knew the easter bunny wasnt real. a few years she just threw us a bag of candy.

  • I think it's okay to still get gifts on special holiday's, as long as it appropiate for the age groups. I mean everyone still gets christmas presents and gift's on valentine's day. Why would it be any different for Easter? And yes I still get an easter present, it's just not in an Easter basket. I usually get money and it's usually spend on my kids anyways : )
