72 hour kits for babies

What kind of formula do you think would do best in them? I was thinking of getting some of those 8oz pre-made bottles for the kit.

We only really have a closet so a lot of water might be really hard to store.

  • It's an emergency kit. It's suggested that you keep 72 hours worth of food and water for emergencies.

  • get some extra bottles, a few gallons of water (should have anyways if making a 72hr kit)0 and powder formula....it shouldnt go bad or need to be in the fridge.....if its opened, it doesnt need to be in the fridge eather.

  • You would only need 4 or 5 bottles of water for 72 hrs so that should be small enough to keep in a closet. I would keep the powder form of whatever formula you use because it doesnt need anything. The premade bottles are heavy and will take as much room if not more than a few bottles and a can.

  • personally I agree about the powder but they have packets that you open and pour right into an 8 ounce bottle of water that way you could only use what you need and save the rest for a later disaster.
