Has anyone done IVF. If so how did you pay for it. Without insurance?

My insurance only covers diagnosis and not the procedure. How can we pay for it if is likely that i will have to have this to get pregnant again with second child.

  • Does your insurance cover the drugs? That is probably the costliest part. IVF out of pocket with decent insurance paying for the drugs & Dr's visits is around $10,000. They have someone who will guide you as far as cost goes when you go see the Reproductive Specialist. GL

  • There are other options, talk with your doc and see if there is some sort of payment plan, or maybe financial assistance for the procedure. Its help out there, just look around for it. Good luck
