What comes to mind when you hear MacKenzie and Payton boy or girl name

Im haveing a running contest with my friend she said both of the names sound like boy names

  • Dd is makenzie. I think peyyton is girl but Dh thinks boyish.

  • Girl for both, which is another reason I'm glad we didn't name our oldest boy Payton. I know there are boys named Peyton (thinking Manning here), but we were going to spell it with the 'a' after Walter Payton. But we went with Logan (after Wolverine from X-Men comics, yeah I know, we're 'those' parents)
