How much is a reasonable rate pay for babyssitting overnight on a weekend?

Me and my Fiance are thinking about maybe babysitting on the weekends (Fri & Sat) We need little extra money so we figure it would be good idea, since we never go anywhere on the weekends. and will be willing to babysit overnight. We would babysit in our house, since we have kids ourselves.
We already figure the rate for just babysitting an hour.
But we are wondering how much would be an appropiate rate or mostlikely a flat fee for overnight babysitting? we were thinking about $50.00 but I dont know if that would be a reasonable and fair? or not.

  • depends on the age of the kiddos. if you have to change diapers it should be more expensive than babysitting a 5 year old.

  • I agree....for me it would depend on the age of the child and how many children I am responsible for.

  • If you are looking for additional income then this should be negotiable.
