Aleve and Breastfeeding

So it's 6:00am, and I'm aching so bad I cannot sleep. I am completely out of Tylenol and Ibuprophin... the only thing I have left is Aleve.
I still regularly breastfeed my 15 month old... Do you think it would be ok if I just took one dose (220 mg) of Aleve? I know they say that yes, technically, it should be ok, but I'm wondering what you ladies have to say.

  • Oh, I was told no to Aleve when pregnant or nursing. It is Naproxen, and all that class was "off limits" which really sucked because it always works for me.

  • I would say nope. Because of the same reason as the PP.
