  • I hate when people name their pets Scruffy, Fido, or other common pet names. Go out of the box and name them something beautiful.

  • HAHA!! Im boring..I have a black and white tuxedo cat. We rescued him when he was gonna be put to sleep. I started calling him Buddy until I could come up with a "clever" name....well, 10 years later, he's still "Buddy"...

  • Name him for his personality. I have 3 cats. 1st is Shade. Within an hour of bringing him home from the shelter he was totally chilled. Like you'd chill under a shady tree with a cool drink in hand. 2nd is Shadow. We brought him home with his brother Shade and he was (still is a year later) as skittish as a cloud's shadow on a windy day. 3rd is Sylvrr (silver). We inherited him when we moved into our new place in Nov. He's a gray/silver tabby and looks like a silver streak when he's tearing through the place.
