Can walking help strengthen the pelvic muscle oppose to kegel exercise?

We have been walking since June and added a little jogging to it too.

  • I've found that Kegel exercises are the best for keeping the pelvic muscles strong. You target the specific muscles that walking/jogging don't that will keep those muscles toned..
They are easy and can be done anywhere at anytime and have SO many other benefits than preventing incontence, vaginal prolapse, etc. (ie-my hubby can tell when I've been doing my "exercises")

  • Squats and lunges are very helpful in that area, so maybe incorporate those into your walks, and they make your booty look great too :]

  • Walking is good but is no substitute for the kegels if you want to be ' tight ' for your SO.
