Please share how you cook your Easter ham.

Just looking for ideas.

  • DH puts a whole ham in the slow cooker all day (can't be a sliced ham) and starts it on high and then moves it to low later in the day. We have had so many compliments on how the ham tastes, it is never dry and sooo juicy.

  • I buy a bone in whole ham. Cook it in a pan with ginger ale and baste every 15 minutes with the ginger ale I dont dot with whole cloves or put the pineapple rings and cherry's on it.

  • I buy a shank portion bone in ham and cover it with foil and bake it at 352 for 20 minutes per pound. I don't like the presliced hams because they dry out and I don't like the super sweet glaze on ham either.

  • We glaze it with an orange juice/brown sugar mixture and bake it.
